Egyptian Farmers is a watercolour measuring 15″ x 11″ on cotton rag paper, unframed. The peoples around the Nile have been farming for thousands of years in more or less the same way…they travel their own roads and meet each other along the way forming groups. One of the most used systems of transport on these roads are, of course donkeys…they are the work horses of the land.
