From Harry’s Bar, Venice is a watercolour done on cotton rag paper showing a view of the Santa Maria Della Salute basilica. This famous viewpoint is one of the most popular painting positions in Venice and has remained so for centuries. Trevor has painted it from a completely different perspective, showing it backlit and blue/purple, depicting evening light. ” This is my most favourite building in the world, it is a  magnificent structure. Beautiful to look at and magical to paint. I will never tire of the beauty it portrays, it makes my heart sing every time I see it”.
