Gardens of the Dorsoduro : Watercolour depicting what is known as the ” Artist’s Quarter” in Venice. An incredibly pleasant and altogether quite part of the city leading eventually down to the Guggenheim museum and then on to the steps and entrance of the Della Salute. This area is a sun trap and full of twists and turns, views and vistas at every new turning it makes for great sketchbook day far from the crowds of St. Marks square and the Rialto.
