Holloway Road Contre Jour / Watercolour on cotton rag paper unframed. “On a recent trip to London I visited the place where I was born and grew up. It was a nostalgic affair and quite emotional.I found the house and street where I was born and the parks I played in as a kid. In my early teens I took a Saturday job in Holloway Road working in an Estate agents and Auction House. That was when I first saw the Beatles entering offices about a hundred yards from where I worked. This happened on two separate occasions. After all it was ” Swinging London ” and was an open ticket to ride as they said!”
