Light in a Spanish Garden : Painted from a stay near Valencia, Spain. This painting is very much an impressionist mood for Trevor. The main ambition captured in it is obviously the quality of light that could only be produced in and around the Valencian countryside. Reds and yellows contrasting with blue and purple shadows give the viewer the feeling of light filled branches and dappled shadows along a pathway leading to a light-filled doorway.
