Nelson’s Column / Trafalgar Square in London is one of Trevor’s favourite painting places. Using a limited palette Trevor takes the view of the base of the column and with it the contre jour lighting that so often happens in Trafalgar square. This iconic view is universal but at the same time is an intimate study of figures standing against the light of an evening sky.
